Nvidia Corp. said Wednesday that it signed a multi-year collaboration with Microsoft Corp. to create an artificial intelligence supercomputer.
The artificial intelligence device will be the result of Microsoft Azure’s advanced supercomputing infrastructure and Nvidia’s networking and full stack AI software, the technology company said.
Additionally, Nvidia will use Azure’s scalable virtual machine instances to research and generate advances in generative AI, and both companies will collaborate to improve Microsoft’s DeepSpeed deep learning optimization software, Nvidia added.
