A global study has found that a “trust gap” regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has formed in the workplace as business leaders and employees agree that while AI holds great opportunities for transformation, there is a lack of trust that it will be deployed responsibly, according to a press release about the study.
The “Closing the AI Trust Gap” global study released in January 2024 revealed a lack of trust at all levels of the workforce – particularly from employees as opposed to business leaders – when it comes to organizations adopting, developing, and deploying AI in a responsible and trustworthy way. Key findings include:
The data comes from a survey commissioned by Workday and conducted by FT Longitude in November and December 2023 that encompassed 1,375 business leaders and 4,000 employees across 15 countries in three core regions: North America; Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ); and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
